Hulme, Moss Side & Rusholme Integrated Neighbourhood Team meet with the Lord Mayor of Manchester
Lica Marchant, Adult Social Care Lead for the Neighbourhood and Adult Social Care Service Manager for Central Locality of Manchester, blogs for the MLCO website on Hulme, Moss Side and Rusholme Integrated Neighbourhood Team being recognised by the Lord Mayor.
What a tremendous opportunity for the Hulme, Moss Side & Rusholme Integrated Neighbourhood Team to share time with the Lord Mayor in receiving thanks for our commitments and efforts during the very challenging last few months in living through the pandemic. Equally, a very humbling experience to listen to colleagues share some of their amazing front line stories and how reaching out to people in their homes has been a struggle, but one which has brought us all closer together.
We were invited to nominate a team who we felt were ‘doing something spectacular’ to keep things moving. Of course we are all working above and beyond, but I wanted to share a special thank you to our team who have been particularly challenged with the vaccination programme. Looking around at our colleagues, and the communities we serve makes us remember why we are so passionate about the work that we do.
Thank you Lord Mayor for making us all feel so appreciated.
