City Centre
We are the community health and adult social care integrated neighbourhood team for Manchester City Centre.
In recent years cranes have dominated the Manchester skyline and will continue to do so as more and more areas of our city are being developed and new apartments built. Our city centre has morphed from a place of industry and business with only a few thousand residents to a thriving and bustling home to over 30,000 residents today and still growing.
This rapid growth has created some new pressures for our health and care services. We want to start to understand the city centre as a distinct and separate population, we want to understand the population’s needs, their priorities but also the opportunities that exist in many of the community assets in the centre. We are also looking at engaging with our VCSE partners to plan and collaborate as a whole neighbourhood.
This neighbourhood page will provide contact details of our integrated partnership, health and social care connections alongside our neighbourhood plan and what’s on in the neighbourhood.
