Let’s Have Better Conversations about Moving More
Let’s have better conversations about moving more with people with long-term physical and mental health conditions!
Collaborate Out Loud are looking for up to 10 people across Manchester and Trafford with long-term physical or mental health conditions to help us to co-design a training programme.
The training programme will help non-clinical staff (everyone apart from roles like doctors, nurses etc.) to have different and better conversations with people about moving more and the health benefits of doing so.
Conversations that inspire, motivate and don’t make assumptions that get in the way of supporting people to move more.
We believe that currently these conversations are often not happening or not happening in a way that works for both parties.
If you think you can use your lived experience of your particular longer-term mental or physical health condition to inform this training we will give you a £20 Love to Shop Voucher.
Collobate Out Loud are asking anyone interested to meet with Maggie (part of the COL team) to share your experiences. It will take no longer than an hour to do this. There will also be further opportunities to stay involved with this work as it develops.
