This service is delivered in neighbourhoods by the District Nursing Service. We provide high quality and timely care. It is available to non-housebound patients who are registered with a Central Manchester GP.

Our aim is to provide high quality and timely care. It is available to non-housebound patients who are registered with a Central Manchester GP.

We support patients with catheter care, leg ulcers, suture and clip removal. Also wound care – post surgical, acute and chronic wounds.

Providing treatment and support to patients in central Manchester.

We accept referrals from all health and social care professionals, patients and carers, as long as they can access the local service and require ongoing nursing for medically stable conditions. Referrals are accepted in person or by telephone. Patients can self-refer.

Appointments quickly fill up so you are advised to book your appointment as soon as possible – please do not wait until the day you require treatment as we have very few appointments available on the day.
