Treatment Room – North Manchester
The North Manchester Community Treatment Rooms Service specialises in the provision of nursing care to all patients who are not housebound. This includes wound care, stoma and catheter care, injections and removal of sutures and clips.
Our aim is to provide high quality and timely care. It is available to non-housebound patients who are registered with a North Manchester GP.
We are a non-emergency service serving people who are 16 years old and above and who are registered with a North Manchester GP. Patients need to be mobile or mobile with help by family or carer and be able to self-transfer onto the examination couch.
We offer holistic nursing assessment of needs and all treatment plans are discussed with patients and choices offered around care.
Patients can self-refer but also any multi- disciplinary service can refer – GP, Practice Staff, District Nurses, Specialist Nurses etc.
